# Website image credits and provenance

All website images are self-hosted WebP derivatives of owner-authorized Real Approach Trainer assets. `assets/sources.json` records original paths, displayed dimensions and responsive output widths. EXIF orientation is applied before resizing; screenshots are not fabricated or retouched. Only selected artwork and screenshots are published, not application source or internal documents.

## Artwork and app icon

The start-screen and library backgrounds are owner-approved generated artwork, created with OpenAI image generation. The HSI app icon is the app's original digital instrument artwork. Website colours follow native app values: amber `#ffbd52`, panel `#172126`, and charcoal button gradients.

## App screenshots and charts

Cockpit and selector images show the native iPhone app. Editor images show the native iPad app. Map images show the native iPhone app. The selector screenshot genuinely offers DI, HSI and Digital HSI; it is not the older needle-presentation menu.

Every visible approach plate in the published images is the FAA-produced **Daytona Beach International (KDAB), ILS or LOC RWY 7L**, cycle 2610 (1–29 October 2026). No UK or other non-FAA approach plates are included. FAA Aeronautical Information Services is the chart producer. Charts are historical training examples, not current operational navigation material. No FAA endorsement is implied.

The source repository records the original FAA PDF and its checksum. The redistribution basis is the US federal-government-work public-domain rule; see the [Library of Congress guidance](https://www.loc.gov/duplicationservices/copyright/). This is the US public-domain basis, not a separate worldwide rights determination.

The aircraft pictogram incorporated in app screenshots is adapted from **gfkDSGN**, “Plane, Cessna, Icon / Top view airplane icon illustration” (19 November 2016), [Pixabay source](https://pixabay.com/vectors/plane-cessna-icon-pilot-typ-172-1828996/), used under the [Pixabay Content License](https://pixabay.com/service/license-summary/). It is shown as part of the app interface, not distributed as standalone stock artwork.
